Amy Zoloto

Clarinet

Amy Zoloto, clarinetist, is a native Chicagoan, who earned a degree at DePaul University with Larry Combs. She has been a member of the Jacksonville Symphony, and the South Bend Symphony and has performed in Chicago under the batons of Pierre Boulez, Georg Solti and Daniel Barenboim.

Ms. Zoloto has performed much new music, including a premiere performance and recording of “Memphis Wood” by composer Stella Sung and has spent summers at the Colorado Music Festival in Boulder, the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan, and the Bard Music Festival. Most recently, she has performed with the American Symphony Orchestra, the New York City Opera and the Metropolitan Opera. Ms. Zoloto is a member of the Sylvan Winds and has served as an adjunct faculty member of the University of Florida in Gainesville.
