Ensemble Π announces a call for scores for their March 2007 Thoughts About Peace in a Time of War New York City peace concert (exact date and venue pending).

Composers should submit works of 5-8 minute durations for instrumentation in any combination of the following: soprano, flute (piccolo, alto), clarinet (bass clarinet), trombone (euphonium,conch, didjeridu), violin, cello, piano, percussion, and tape.
(Submissions by composers from areas of the world currently facing armed conflict (Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine, Sudan, Afghanistan, etc.) are especially encouraged, as are compositions reflecting the voices of such cultures.)
